So, Madhucon Granites Ltd. is located right besides D No. 135 in Addukurukki, Kamandoddi. It’s one of those places you might miss if you aren't looking for it, but we have plenty of granite here. Working with stone is heavy work and we spend most of our time out there in the yard. The machines are loud and the air is usually full of that stone smell. We've been at this spot in Kamandoddi for some time now. It’s not a fancy setup, just a lot of granite slabs and the tools to handle them. Sometimes people come by asking for specific colors or sizes. We just show them what’s available at the moment. The weather out here affects how we work, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy around the slabs. We try to keep the stacks neat but it’s a constant battle. Addukurukki is a quiet enough area for a business like ours. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. Most people who need granite know where we are. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation where we cut stone and load trucks. It’s physical work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up. Nothing too complicated about it. We just focus on the granite we have here beside house number 135. It’s what we know how to do. There is always a lot to move before the sun goes down.
