We are located at No. 11, Purasawalkam High Road. It’s a very busy part of town with lots of shops and people walking around. Little Oriental Balm & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has been in this spot for a long time. You can often smell the various ingredients we use before you even walk through the door. It’s a scent that sticks to your clothes, but we don’t mind it. The building is a bit cramped because we have to store a lot of materials and finished products. We have a small team of people who have been with us forever. We don't use any high-tech marketing. We just make what we make and people come to buy it. The floor is made of old stone and stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time finding parking on the high road, so we have to carry things out to them. It’s a lot of physical work and paying attention to small details. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. We just have a workspace where we get things done. Purasawalkam is a lively area, and we like being right in the heart of it. It’s where we started and where we plan to stay. It’s just a simple, honest business making things that people find useful. That is what we have been doing all along.
