The building at No: 595/2A2 is right on the main Avadi Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road in Ellamenpet, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines in the background. We are based out of the Post Laxmipuram area in Redhills. It gets incredibly dusty around here, so we are constantly wiping down the machines and the boxes. We handle various food and drink items, which means there’s always something being weighed or sealed. The roof is made of metal, so when it rains, you can barely hear yourself talk, and when it’s sunny, it gets quite warm inside. We have a few big fans that help a bit. Most of our days are spent checking the stock and loading it onto the small vans that take things into the city. We have a small crew, mostly people who live nearby in Redhills, so we all know each other well. We don't have a fancy lobby or any air conditioning in the main area. It’s just a place where we get the work done. Sometimes the orders come in all at once and we have to work late into the night, but we usually find time for a tea break near the main gate. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously. We just focus on getting the crates packed right so nothing breaks during transport. It’s a simple, honest business and we like it that way.
