Lathika Engineering

Lathika Engineering has been sitting here at Plot No. 12/13 for a good while now. We are right by the Power House in Kodambakkam, so it is quite easy to find us if you are coming from the Main Road. The workshop gets pretty busy most days. You’ll usually see a few of us outside or near the entrance handling stuff. It’s an engineering place, so there is always some noise from the machines and people moving parts around. We have stayed in this spot because it works for the kind of work we do. The neighborhood knows us well enough. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets backed up, but we just keep doing what we do inside the gates. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular workspace with tools, desks, and some grease on the floor. Most of our days are spent fixing things or putting parts together for whoever needs them. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist greeting everyone who walks in. You usually just find someone who isn't too busy and talk to them. It’s a straightforward setup. We like it here in Kodambakkam because everything is close by. If we need a specific part or just some tea, we don't have to go very far. That is pretty much how it is here. Just a local engineering shop doing its thing day after day without much fuss.
