Lassi Shop

We spend most of our time at 96, Periyar Nagar just getting things ready for the day. It's a small place but it stays busy, especially when the sun is out and everyone wants something cold to drink. Usually, the morning starts with checking the milk and yogurt deliveries. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, it's just a few of us here making lassi and talking to whoever walks in from the street. Some people have been coming here since we first opened and we know their orders before they even say anything. Sometimes the blender makes too much noise and we have to yell over it to hear the news on the radio. The floor gets a bit slippery if we aren't careful with the ice. Periyar Nagar is a decent area to be in because there's always someone passing by. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate what we do. It’s mostly about making sure the cups are clean and the fruit is fresh enough to use. We don't really do fancy stuff or big ads. If you walk past number 96, you'll see us behind the counter just doing our work. It’s a job and we like the people around here. The shop is small but it fits what we need for now. We mostly just focus on getting through the afternoon rush without running out of supplies. Sometimes the ceiling fan squeaks but we've gotten used to it.
