Lakshmi Stone Works

Lakshmi Stone Works is located at 289 on K.H. Road in Ayanavaram. We have a small yard where we keep our stone slabs and some basic machinery for cutting. It is a bit of a dusty place, as you would expect from a workshop like this. We spend most of our time out in the shed, measuring pieces or running the cutters. The noise from the saws can be quite loud during the day, but that is just part of the work. We have been in Ayanavaram for a good while now and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. We handle all sorts of granite and local stones that people use for their homes. There is no fancy showroom here. You just walk into the yard and see what we have stacked against the walls. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big shipment of raw stone arrives. We are just a small crew trying to get the jobs finished on time. The weather gets pretty hot under the tin roof, but we just keep at it. We focus on making sure the cuts are straight and the edges are smooth. It is hard work on the hands and the back, but it is what we know how to do. If you stop by, we are usually the ones covered in stone dust near the back of the property.
