Lakshmi Ice Plant

Lakshmi Ice Plant is over at No: 62, S N Chetty Street in Royapuram. We are right in the heart of a busy area where a lot of people need ice for their daily business. Our facility is mostly dedicated to making large quantities of ice, so it's not a place for shopping or browsing. It’s a very practical environment with pipes, compressors, and big freezing molds. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age. We don't have any office staff in suits; it's mostly just workers in boots moving ice around. The street outside is usually crowded with traffic and people, which makes loading the trucks a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't have a website or do any social media. People who need ice in Royapuram just know where to find us on S N Chetty Street. It’s hard, physical work and it can get very cold inside the plant even when it's boiling outside. We start early in the morning to get the first batches ready for the day. There isn't anything fancy about what we do. We just make ice and sell it to the local markets and vendors. It’s a basic service that we provide to the community here. We just focus on keeping the production going so the local fish and produce stay fresh. That is our daily routine and we stuck to it.
