Lab Electronics

We run Lab Electronics from 10/13 Sriram Street in Mugalivakam, Chennai. It’s a busy little spot where there is always a soldering iron warming up or a circuit board being poked at. Our workspace is pretty cluttered with wires, multimeters, and old components that we might need one day. If you see our email, it belongs to Maximus, who is usually the one answering the phone or replying to messages when he isn't busy fixing something. Chennai is hot, so the small office can get a bit stuffy with all the electronic gear running, but we have a couple of fans that do the job. We don't do anything fancy like big advertising campaigns. Most of our work comes from people in Mugalivakam who have something broken or need a part for a project. We spend a lot of time peering through magnifying glasses and trying to find tiny faults in gadgets. It takes a lot of patience and sometimes our eyes get a bit tired by the end of the day. We aren't a big chain store or a corporate service center. We are just a local shop on Sriram Street where you can talk directly to the person doing the work. Sometimes we are a bit behind on our emails because a repair took longer than expected, but we eventually get to everything. It’s just how we operate, one device at a time, keeping it simple and local.
