Kushal Granites

We are over in Arumbakkam at No. 2C on Babu Jagan Street. It is a busy little area, especially being right opposite the Vijaya Park Hotel. You can see the hotel entrance from our front gate. Kushal Granites has been here in Kannan Bala Nagar for quite some time now. It is a family business, so you will usually find one of us standing around the yard at any time of day. We deal with granite slabs of all different kinds. The street is a bit tight, so when the big trucks come in with new stock, it is always a bit of a struggle to get them positioned correctly. We have had a few close calls with the side mirrors over the years. We spend most of the day measuring slabs and talking to people about their kitchen counters. Granite is very heavy stuff, and moving it takes a lot of care and patience. We have a couple of guys who are really good with the lifters. They know exactly how to handle the stone without chipping the edges. The office is just a small room where we keep the receipts and have our lunch. It is nothing special, just a place to sit for a minute. The hotel across the road always has people coming and going, which makes the street feel quite lively. We just keep doing our thing and loading the orders.
