We are located at No. 50 in the Sidco Industrial Estate over in Kurichi. Kumar Engineering has been running from this spot for a good while now. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there’s always a hum of activity in the air. We do engineering work, mostly handling whatever parts or repairs come our way. The floor of the shop is usually covered in metal shavings, and there’s always a bit of grease on someone's hands. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. We just have our workspace and the tools we need to get things done. Kurichi is a decent place for a business like ours because everything is close by. We see the same faces every day, both the people we work with and our neighbors in the estate. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-job, wearing our work clothes and trying to finish an order. It’s a practical life, and we’re okay with that. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when multiple jobs arrive at once, but we just sort through it as best as we can. That’s just how we do things at No. 50. It’s a regular shop for regular engineering needs.
