K.R.S. Hospital

K.R.S. Hospital is located right at 2 Avenue Road, near where it meets Valluvarkottam High Road in Nungambakkam. It is a very busy spot in Chennai, so there is never really a quiet moment outside. We have been here for a good while, and most people in the neighborhood know the building. Inside, it smells like that typical hospital cleaner scent. We have different floors for different things, and the elevator is a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs instead. The staff here works long hours, and we often see people coming in at odd times of the night since it is an urban area. We don't have any of those expensive paintings on the walls or leather sofas. It’s just rows of chairs for the patients and their families. The registration desk is always a bit chaotic with people asking questions and filling out forms. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, it can be a bit of a challenge. The doctors go about their rounds and the ward boys are always moving carts around. We just handle things as they come. It’s a lot of work, and the days feel long, but we are used to the rhythm of this place. We just provide a place for people to come when they need medical help without making a big deal about it.
