We have been operating K.P.J. Granites Pvt. Ltd. from our office at B.B.C. Manor on Duraisamy Road for quite some time now. T. Nagar is a very busy place, and it gets loud with all the traffic outside, but we manage. Most of our days are spent talking to people about stone and looking at slabs that come in from different places. Granite is heavy work, and our backs often feel it by the end of the evening. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights, just a practical space where we keep our records and meet people who need stone for their houses. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to actually hear the tea boy coming down the hall. We moved to this T. Nagar spot because it’s central, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare for the trucks. It’s just a few of us here making sure the orders go out correctly and that the quality of the granite is what we told the person it would be. We don't use big words or try to act like we are a huge corporation. We are just a local business trying to get the job done right every day. If you walk past number 11, you’ll see our small sign. It’s a simple life here, surrounded by rock and paperwork, but it’s what we know how to do well.
