Kowin Cow Farm Private Limited

Our place is over at 18 B, specifically in the Snow Housing Apartments on 3rd Street in Bakkialakshmi Nagar. That's in Maduravoyal, Chennai. It might sound strange to have a cow farm business registered in an apartment complex, but this is our base for the city side of things. The actual cows are obviously elsewhere where there is more grass and space, but the management happens right here. We deal with the logistics of getting milk and dairy products into the Kancheepuram and Chennai areas. It’s a lot of phone calls and coordinating with the drivers. The apartment is mostly just a workspace with some computers and a lot of logbooks. It’s tight quarters, especially when we have a few people in there at once. We don't have any fancy receptionists or waiting rooms. You just walk in and find us working. We started this because we knew there was a need for steady supplies in the city. The traffic in Maduravoyal can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. It’s a busy life, balancing the farm side with the city side. We make mistakes sometimes, like forgetting to update a ledger, but we always fix them. It’s just a small group of us trying to keep the wheels turning and the milk moving. We don't have time for anything that isn't practical or useful.
