Ck Engineering

You can find us on Chavadi 1st Cross Street, not far from the Paadi Bridge and the TVS Lucas plant. Ck Engineering is a local spot here in Korattur. We aren't some huge company with a glass building. Our place at No. 13 is more of a practical workshop where we get our hands dirty every single day. The Chennai heat can be pretty rough in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. We handle a lot of small engineering jobs. Most of the people working here have been in the trade for years. They don't need much instruction anymore. We just get the drawings and start the work. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except for the sound of our own machines running. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or any of that marketing stuff. We just rely on the work we do. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone welding or at the drill press. We keep things pretty simple. No big speeches or fancy promises. We just try to finish the jobs on time so the customers can get back to their own business. It’s a steady life here near the bridge. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but our shop stays much the same. Most of our tools have been with us for a long time and they still work great for what we need. It's just an honest way to make a living in this part of the city.
