Kora Cafe Private Limited is right there in Anna Nagar on 2nd Avenue, specifically in Block No.340. If you’ve walked down 2nd Avenue, you’ve probably passed by our door at some point. It’s a lively part of the city, and there’s always something happening right outside. We spend a lot of our time making sure the place is ready for people to come in and sit for a bit. It’s not a massive space, but we’ve tried to make it comfortable in our own way. The morning rush is usually the craziest part of the day when everyone is trying to get somewhere else. We see all kinds of people coming through, from students to folks who have lived in Anna Nagar their whole lives. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up or we run out of something we really needed, but that’s just life in a cafe. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just like having a spot where the neighborhood can come together. The lights inside are a bit dim because we think it feels better that way. Most afternoons, you can hear the traffic from the avenue, but it becomes like background noise after you've worked here for a few weeks. We are just regular people running a small business and hoping the day goes smoothly without too many spills or broken mugs. It’s a lot of cleaning and chatting with whoever walks in.
