Kohinoor Overseas

Kohinoor Overseas is located at 34 Royapettah High Road in Mylapore. It’s a very busy part of town. There is always noise from the traffic outside our door. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Mylapore. We do a lot of work with overseas trade, which means we are on the phone a lot at odd hours. The office isn't very big, and it’s usually full of folders and samples. We don't have a lot of room for fancy furniture. Most of our day is spent checking emails and talking to shippers. It can get a bit stressful when a container is delayed, but we just keep at it. Being on the High Road is good because everyone knows where it is. We sometimes grab lunch at the small stalls nearby. The local tea man comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. We are just a small team trying to make things work in a big city. We don't use big words or try to act like a corporate giant. We’re just regular people working in a crowded office. Mylapore has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of it now. We don't have a big mission, we just try to get the shipping papers right and the calls finished. It's a lot of sitting and typing most days.
