Kauvery Hospital

Down in Mylapore, we are located at No.199 Luz Church Road. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history and busy streets. Being near the church means there is always a lot of activity outside our doors. The hospital building fits right into the neighborhood. Inside, we are just a group of people doing our jobs. Every morning starts with the shift change, and you can hear the chatter of the staff in the hallways. We have rooms for all sorts of patients, and we try to keep the place as tidy as possible. It’s not a corporate office; it’s a place where things actually happen. The hallways can be a bit narrow in some sections because of how the building is laid out. We get a lot of people from the surrounding streets who have been coming here for generations. Mylapore has a certain feel to it, and we like being part of that. Sometimes the traffic on Luz Church Road makes it hard for ambulances to get through, which is always a bit stressful. We spend a lot of time on our feet, walking between the different departments. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back for the staff. We aren't looking to be the biggest place, just a reliable one for the people living nearby. It is a lot of responsibility, but we just take it day by day and do what is needed to keep the doors open.
