Kanchan Home Appliances has been at the Saideep building on Kavita Street for quite a while now. Most people in Annanagar West Extension find us easily enough since we're just off Park Road. We handle a lot of home appliances, basically the stuff people use in their kitchens every single day. If your mixer stops working or the stove starts acting up, folks around here usually just bring them in to us. It’s a busy little spot in U.R Nagar. We don't have a big showroom or anything fancy like that. It's just a shop where we keep the shelves stocked with what people actually need. Usually, it's just a couple of us working here. We get a lot of regular customers from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with boxes on the floor. That's just how it is when a new shipment arrives. We try to keep things organized, but there's always something to fix or move around. It's not a quiet place, especially when the ceiling fans are going. Most days are pretty steady. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. If you’re walking down Kavita Street, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing special to look at, but we know where everything is. We spend most of the afternoon checking over orders or helping someone find a specific spare part. It’s hard work, but it keeps the neighborhood running.
