You can find Kamaraj Coffee House at 256 Bharathi Salai. We are in the Ellis Puram area, specifically in Padupakkam, which is right off the famous Mount Road. It’s a very busy part of the city. There’s always a lot of noise from Mount Road filtering through, but Bharathi Salai has its own rhythm too. Number 256 is where we spend all our time. It’s a bustling spot with people constantly moving back and forth. Padupakkam is an old area, and you can feel that in the buildings and the narrowness of some of the streets. We aren't a corporate chain; we are just Kamaraj Coffee House, a local place in a busy neighborhood. The heat can be something else on Bharathi Salai in the middle of the day, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on Mount Road, but we are still here at 256. It’s a bit of a crowded life, with Ellis Puram being so packed, but it means there’s never a dull moment. We don't have any fancy slogans. We just work hard and stay at our post. It’s a real place for real people. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to even cross the street, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’ve grown to love the chaos of it all. It’s our home and where we feel most useful.
