Kamakshi National Hospital

Kamakshi National Hospital sits over on Jaffer Street, specifically the 1st Street on the 2nd line of Beach Road. It’s an interesting spot because you are so close to the water, but the streets are quite narrow and tucked away. Finding the hospital can be a little tricky the first time if you aren't familiar with how the lines are laid out near Beach Road. The building is a bit older, with several floors that have been added to or changed over time. The hallways inside are long and can feel a bit cramped when there are a lot of people moving around. Jaffer Street is usually filled with the sounds of the city, and you get that salt air coming off the coast on some days. We have various wards and rooms scattered across the facility. It’s not one of those new, shiny hospitals you see in the brochures. It’s a working building with some cracked tiles here and there and paint that has seen better days. The lobby area stays busy with people checking in or waiting for news. We have a lot of fans running to keep the air moving, as it gets quite warm in this part of town. It’s a busy place with a lot of history in these walls, right here in the heart of the Beach Road area. We spend our nights and days here making sure everything keeps running as it should.
