Our place is over on Elngo Street in Pattabiram, which is a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main parts of Chennai. We share the space at No 13 with Mraja Solomon’s office, so it can get a little crowded when everyone is in at the same time. The Drambathkar Nagar area is pretty quiet compared to the city center, which is nice when you’re trying to focus. It’s just a basic room with a few desks and some old chairs we’ve had forever. The walk from the station isn't too bad, though the humidity in this part of Tamil Nadu usually means you’re sweating by the time you reach the door. We don't have any big signs out front or a fancy lobby. It's just a regular house where we handle our daily business tasks. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of someone typing or the ceiling fan clicking away. We know the neighbors pretty well, and sometimes we stop to chat by the gate for a bit too long. There’s a small shop around the corner that does decent snacks when we forget to bring lunch from home. It’s a simple setup, nothing special to look at, but it’s where we do our thing every day. We’ve been at this address for a while now and don’t see ourselves moving anytime soon because the rent is fair and we like the local vibe.
