Down at 12, Kubera Ganapathy Street in Padi, you will find K C R Engineering. We are a small team and we have been working out of this shop for years. Padi is a busy place with lots of engineering shops, but we have our own way of doing things. We don't bother with fancy brochures or a big marketing team. We just open up early in the morning and start on whatever orders are on the desk. Sometimes it’s small parts, other times it’s bigger repair jobs. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots on it, which is just how an engineering shop looks when it's being used. We know the neighbors and they know us. If someone has a broken piece of machinery, they bring it over and we see what we can do. We aren't perfect, and sometimes a job takes a bit longer if a machine breaks down, but we always finish what we start. It's just a practical place. We use older machines because they are sturdy and we know how to fix them ourselves. Kubera Ganapathy Street isn't very wide, so it can get a bit cramped when deliveries arrive. But we manage. We aren't looking to change much. We like the work we do and we like being in this part of town. Just honest labor and everyday engineering for anyone who needs it.
