Je Nesam Hospital

If you walk down 40th Street in Ashok Nagar, you’ll find Je Nesam Hospital right at No. 1. It’s a busy corner, and there’s always something going on outside with the traffic and the street vendors. Our hospital is a bit of a refuge from that noise. We’ve got several floors and a lot of different departments, but it still feels like a neighborhood spot. The nurses are always rushing around with clipboards, and the doctors usually have a lot on their plates, but they’ll stop and talk to you if you look confused. We don't have a fancy lobby with a fountain or anything. It's just chairs and a desk where you check in. The elevators are a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs, which is better for staying fit anyway. We handle everything from minor scrapes to people who need to stay for a few days. It's a lot of work keeping a place like this running in the middle of Ashok Nagar, but we've been here long enough that it's just routine now. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold in the waiting room, so people bring sweaters. We just try to provide a decent place for people to get treated without making it too complicated. It’s a practical building for a practical purpose. We're just here to do the job every single day for the local folks.
