Isde Academy India Private Limited

Isde Academy is based out of an apartment in Ambattur. We are in unit F4 of the Asha Vignesh Apartment on MTH Road. It’s a bit of a different setup because it’s a residential building, but it works for our classes. We’ve turned the main rooms into study areas with some desks and chairs we picked up. It feels a bit like a home, which I think the students actually like. We have a small whiteboard in every room. MTH Road is always loud with trucks and buses, but once you’re inside, it’s not too bad. We started this because we wanted a place where we could teach without all the corporate overhead. We don't have a big staff. I do a lot of the teaching myself, and a couple of others help with the admin. We eat our lunch in the small kitchen area. Sometimes the apartment lift doesn't work, so we all get some exercise on the stairs. It’s a very local, hands-on operation. We aren't a big franchise with hundreds of branches. We just have this one spot in Ambattur where we try to help kids learn. It’s a bit messy and crowded sometimes, but we get the work done. People know us in the building now, and it feels like we belong here.
