Our place is over at 10, 2nd Street, just off Dr.Radhakrishnan Salai in Mylapore. Intex Desingner Tiles Pvt. Ltd. is not a massive corporate office or anything like that. It is just where we keep the tiles and handle the paperwork. Mylapore is a good neighborhood, though parking can be a bit of a headache on some days. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and helping people figure out what fits their floors. Tiles are heavier than they look, and we do a lot of lifting around here. The office gets a bit crowded when we have a new shipment coming in. We have got samples everywhere. Sometimes it feels like there is not enough floor space to actually walk. We try to keep the coffee pot going for anyone who walks in. It is a bit of a local operation. We know the neighbors and they know us. We do not do big TV ads or anything. Most people just find us because they live nearby or someone told them about the shop on 2nd Street. We have seen the area change a lot over the years, but we are still right here doing the same thing. It is steady work and it keeps us out of trouble. If the door is open, someone is inside working. Just step over the crates and say hello. We are usually here until late evening. It is just the way we like to run things.
