If you find yourself on GST Road in Guindy, you’ll probably see our place, the Institute Of Communication Technology. We are situated at No 44-A, which is directly opposite the State Bank of India. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the work. I usually get in early to beat the crowd on GST Road because the commute can be a bit much sometimes. Being right across from the bank makes it easy for people to find us if they haven't been here before. We’ve been at this Guindy location for quite some time now. The building itself is older, but it serves us well for what we need to do. We spend a lot of our time in the labs or just handling the day-to-day paperwork that comes with running an institute. There isn't anything too flashy about the setup, just desks and equipment and people trying to get things done. Guindy is a central spot, so we see a lot of different people coming through the doors every week. Sometimes the power flutters when the weather gets bad, but that’s just how it goes in this part of the city. We keep our schedules pretty tight and just stick to the routine. It’s a straightforward operation here at No 44-A, right in the heart of Guindy.
