Indian Marble Company

We run the Indian Marble Company out of our place at number 86 on Poonamallee High Road in Velapanchavdi. It is a large space because marble takes up a lot of room. We have slabs of stone stacked up all over the yard. Most of the day is spent showing people different types of marble and explaining how they look once they are polished. It is a bit of a messy job because moving stone around creates dust and noise. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office with carpets. We have a simple desk near the front where we do the billing. People come from all over the area because we are right on the main road. We don't do a lot of fancy advertising. We just let the stone speak for itself. If someone wants a specific color or pattern, we go out into the yard and help them find the right slab. We are just a group of workers who know how to handle heavy material without breaking it. Sometimes the weather is rough, but we stay open. We don't use a lot of corporate talk here. We just give a price and tell you how much it weighs. It is hard work, but it is what we know. We have been in Velapanchavdi for a long time now, and we just keep doing what we do every day. It's just a regular yard with plenty of stone.
