You can find us over on Kaveri Street in Old Pallavaram. It’s a busy little corner of the neighborhood, and No. 1 is where we handle all our daily business. We’ve been here for a while now, just working out of this space. It’s mostly about managing the international stuff, which means lots of phone calls and even more paperwork. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phone won't stop ringing, but that’s just part of the day. The street outside can get pretty loud with bikes and people going about their business in Thiruthani Nagar, but we don't mind it much. It feels like home. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything gets sent to where it needs to go. We spend a lot of time checking on shipments and talking to people on the other side of the world, which can mean some odd hours. Sometimes I’m here late at night when the rest of the street is quiet. There’s no big sign or flashing lights, just our door. We just try to stay organized and keep everything moving without making a big deal out of it. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us. Every day is a bit different depending on what’s coming in or going out. We just take the calls and fill out the forms as they come.
