Hindu Mission Hospital

We are located at No. 103 GST Road in Tambaram, which is a spot most people in this part of town know pretty well. Being Hindu Mission Hospital means we are right in the middle of all the action. The buses rumble past the front door all day and night. Inside, the floors are a bit worn down from so many people walking on them over the years. We have a lot of different departments tucked away in different corners, and sometimes even we get a bit confused about which way is faster to the lab. The morning shift starts early, usually before the sun is really up, and that’s when the cleaning crew is out in force. We see a lot of families coming in together, sometimes four or five people just to see one patient. It makes the hallways feel a bit tight, but that’s just how it is here. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets in the lobby, just some old benches and a water cooler that gets a lot of use. The staff is a mix of young people just starting out and some older nurses who have seen everything. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just do the work and go home to our own families at the end of the shift. It’s a steady, busy life on GST Road.
