Hindu Mission Hospital

If you have ever been stuck in traffic on GST Road in Tambaram, you have probably looked over and seen Hindu Mission Hospital. We are right there at 103, where the noise from the street never really stops. It is a busy place, and that is putting it lightly. We have been here for years, and the building has seen a lot of faces. Inside, it is a maze of corridors and waiting rooms that always seem to be full of people from the local neighborhood. We don’t have much time for small talk because there is always a patient needing something or a file that went missing for a minute. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we see each other at the shops after work too. It is a very local kind of place. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do; we just show up, put on our uniforms, and start the day. Sometimes the elevator takes a while, and the parking on GST Road is always a bit of a headache for everyone involved. But we are used to it by now. It’s just how things work in Tambaram. You get used to the sound of the horns and the sight of the crowds. It is an honest day's work for everyone in the building.
