Our office is located at 37-38 in Udyog Vihar, Phase-IV. This is a real industrial hub, so we are surrounded by all kinds of factories and large buildings. The roads are wide, but they get packed with buses and cars during the shift changes in the morning and evening. We have a good amount of space here, which is necessary for the kind of work we do. It’s a functional building, built for work rather than looks. We’ve got different sections for different tasks, and people are always moving between them with clipboards and boxes. Hgs (India) Ltd. has been operating out of this phase for many years. You get used to the industrial atmosphere—the smell of diesel, the sound of trucks reversing, and the general busy-ness of the area. We have a small break area where we sit and have our lunch, usually talking about the day’s work or whatever is on the news. It’s not a glamorous spot, but it’s where we get things done. We don't have many visitors, but when we do, they usually comment on how organized we try to keep the warehouse floor. It’s a constant battle against the dust, though, because of all the construction nearby. We just keep at it, day in and day out, following the same routine that has worked for us for a long time. It’s a solid place to work and we’re glad to be here.
