Het Overses

You can find us over at Het Overses, which is on the second floor of the building at number 148 Thambu Chetty Street. It is an old building, and the address is also known as New No. 307, which sometimes confuses people who are visiting for the first time. We are right across from the main Uco Bank branch, so that makes it a lot easier for folks to locate us in the crowd. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a climb every day, especially when the lift is not working right. The office is usually full of files and old ledgers stacked up on the desks. We have a small group of people working here, and we all know each other well. Thambu Chetty Street is always very busy and loud, with trucks and cars honking all day long. We just keep the windows closed and get on with our tasks. We do not do any big advertising or have a shiny website. Most of our work comes from people we have known for a long time. It is a very practical place to work. We spend our time checking numbers and making sure the documents are correct. In the afternoons, we usually have some tea and talk about how the day is going. It is just a normal office where we do our best to stay organized and keep things running.
