We are situated in TPL House on the first floor, located at No. 3 Cenotaph Road in Teynampet. It’s a well-known spot in Chennai, and being on the first floor means we don’t have to wait for the elevator too often. Henkel Spic India has been running out of this office for quite a while. The space is filled with desks, old filing cabinets, and the usual office supplies you’d expect. It’s not one of those modern open-plan offices you see in magazines; it’s a bit more traditional. We have our routine down to a science. Most of us arrive around the same time, have our morning tea, and then get down to the business of the day. There is a lot of back and forth between the departments, and sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once. We don't really go for those corporate slogans. We just focus on getting the tasks done and making sure our records are straight. The view out the window is mostly just the busy street and other buildings, which reminds us of how much is going on in the city. We’re a practical bunch. When something needs fixing, we fix it. When a report is due, we write it. It’s a straightforward environment without any of the fluff. We just appreciate having a steady place to work in a central part of town.
