We deal with granite slabs and stones all day. It’s heavy work even if we are mostly in the office side of things. We have samples of different stones lying around on the floor and on the desks. They make good paperweights, honestly. We talk to quarries and builders mostly. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on delivery schedules. Sometimes the granite doesn't look exactly like the sample, and we have to figure that out with the customers. That’s just the nature of natural stone, no two pieces are ever the same. We’ve been at 92 G. N. Chetty Road for years. The building is older but it suits us just fine. We have a small kitchen where we make tea several times a day. It helps when we are dealing with a lot of paperwork. Shipping large slabs of stone isn't easy, and there are always little issues that pop up with the transport. We just take them as they come. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s what we know. We aren't a huge corporation, just a dedicated team doing our best to keep the stones moving from the ground to the buildings. It's a living and it keeps us busy from morning till evening.
