You can find Happy Coffee Day at NO 110/9 on the ground floor of Pillaiyar Kovil Street. We are located in Injambakkam, which is in the 600115 area of Chennai. It’s a fairly straightforward setup. We focus on coffee, mostly dealing with the beans and the roasting process. We aren't some trendy cafe with expensive furniture and loud music. Our space is more about the work itself. We spend our time checking the machines and making sure the bags are sealed right. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We don't have a big corporate board of directors. It’s just us making decisions as we go along. The street outside can get a bit dusty, but we keep the inside clean and tidy. We’ve been here for a while and most of the locals know where we are. We don't put out a lot of advertisements. We just rely on doing our job every day. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving sacks of coffee around and keeping track of our inventory. We aren't trying to be the best in the world, just trying to be a solid local business that people can depend on. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the sound of the grinders. That is our daily life.
