Halal India Research Council

The office for the Halal India Research Council is located at 919 Evr Periyar Salai. We are specifically on the 1st Street in the Purasaiwakkam neighborhood. Since we are right on such a major city road, there is a constant hum of traffic and horns outside our windows. Inside, the space is mostly filled with desks, computers, and stacks of files. Most of our day is dedicated to doing research and managing a lot of paperwork. It’s not a shop where people walk in to buy things, so it’s a different kind of environment. It’s more about the documents and the long phone calls we have to make. Purasaiwakkam is a very busy and crowded part of the city to work in. Finding a spot to park a vehicle on 1st Street can be a real struggle most days of the week. We’ve been at this address for a long time now, and the building is simple but functional for our needs. We have a small area where we sit for meetings and plenty of shelves for our research records. Sometimes we take a quick break at one of the small tea stalls just around the corner on Evr Periyar Salai. It’s a lot of reading and double-checking small details in reports. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do the technical work that needs to be done.
