Southern Agro Engine Pvt. Ltd. is based at No. 24-a in Phase 3 of the Industrial Estate in Guindy. Being in an industrial area means there is always a lot of noise around us, with machines running and trucks moving in and out of the gates. We’ve been here for quite some time, and we’re pretty much used to the hustle and bustle of Guindy. Our work is all about engines and agro equipment, so our hands are usually a bit greasy by the end of the day. It’s not a clean office job where you sit at a computer all day. We are down on the floor, looking at parts and making sure things are put together right. We don't have a lot of polished speeches about what we do. We just take the engines as they come and do the work. The building at No. 24-a has been our home for years, and it’s got all the tools and space we need. It’s a practical place for practical work. Most of the guys here have been with us a long time and they know their way around a wrench. We don't do much in the way of advertising or trying to look fancy. We just rely on people knowing where we are in Phase 3. It’s a solid way to run a business, just focusing on the engines and making sure we stay busy every day.
