Exotic Granites

Our yard is located right on Vellachery Road in the Guindy area, specifically around Kannigapuram. If you know the road, you know it gets pretty packed with traffic. We spend most of our days moving granite slabs around and showing people what we have in stock. It’s heavy work, and the sun can be quite brutal out here in the open space. We have different kinds of stones sitting around, some polished and some rough. People come in looking for something for their kitchens or floors, and we just walk them through the rows of slabs. It isn't a high-end showroom with air conditioning; it's a working yard where things get moved by cranes and manual labor. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s part of the job when you’re dealing with stone. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and the neighbors know us. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to work. It’s a simple setup at Exotic Granites. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, it's just a couple of us here making sure the slabs are loaded safely onto the trucks. Every piece of granite is different, so it takes time for people to pick what they like. We just let them look and answer questions when they have them. It is what it is, just a stone yard on a busy road.
