Granites India

We operate out of Room No. 2 on the 4th floor of Cisons Complex. Being at 150 Montieth Road in Egmore means we are in a pretty central part of the city. Granites India isn't a massive warehouse; it’s more of an office where we coordinate everything. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to people who come up to see us. Since we are on the fourth floor, we don't keep the actual heavy stone right here, but we handle all the logistics and the samples. It gets a bit cramped sometimes with all the catalogs and small pieces of granite lying around. We’ve been in Egmore for a while now. The building is older, and everyone knows each other. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns or anything polished. We just sit down with whoever comes in, look at their requirements, and see what we can source for them. It’s a lot of coordination between the quarries and the final sites. Sometimes the elevators are slow, and the office gets warm in the afternoons, but we are used to it. We keep our paperwork in folders and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s just a small team of us working here. We focus on getting the details right so the stone ends up where it’s supposed to be without too much fuss. It's practical work that requires keeping track of many moving parts at once.
