Goyal Granite And Marble

If you walk down Razak Garden Road in the M.M.D.A. Colony of Arrumbakkam, you will find us. We have been dealing with heavy slabs of stone here at Goyal Granite And Marble for quite some time. The yard is usually full of different colors of granite and pieces of marble leaning against the walls. It is heavy work and our clothes usually have a bit of white dust on them by the end of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it is more of a practical space where people can see the real texture of the stone. Builders and homeowners come by to pick out what they need for their floors or kitchen tops. We spend a lot of time measuring things and showing how the light hits a certain slab. It can get quite hot in Arrumbakkam, but we just keep at it. Moving these stones takes a lot of care so they don't crack. We know most of the neighbors around here by now. It is a straightforward business where we sell what is on the lot. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to provide the materials that people in the colony need for their houses. Some days are spent just organizing the inventory and making sure the cuts are right for the customers. We don’t do anything flashy, just stay focused on the stone and the heavy lifting that comes with it.
