Goyal Granite & Marble

Our yard is at number 69 on Razar Garden Main Road in the Mmda Colony area of Arumbakkam. It’s a busy spot and you can usually hear the sound of stone being moved around from a distance. We have stacks of granite and marble slabs everywhere, which makes the place look a bit like a maze sometimes. Working with heavy stone is tough on the hands and we all have a few calluses to show for it. Rain or shine, we are out there in the yard. Arumbakkam is a lively neighborhood, so there are always people walking by or asking about prices while they head to the market. We don't have a corporate office or a sales team in suits. It’s just us in our work clothes, covered in a bit of stone dust most of the time. When a truck comes in to unload, everyone has to chip in to get things settled safely. It can be a bit chaotic when three customers show up at once, but we manage to help everyone eventually. We have been in this location for a while and the locals know us as the stone place on the main road. We don't do much advertising; people just see the slabs outside and stop in. It’s a practical way to run things, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
