Nalam Organic

Nalam Organic is a small place located at No. 2 Gopalapuram. We started this because we wanted to work with natural things. It is not a giant warehouse. It is more like a local shop and a storage spot combined. We get stuff from nearby farms and sort it out here. We don't like using a lot of plastic or fancy packaging. Most of what we do is very hands-on. We spend our mornings checking the arrivals and making sure everything looks okay. It is a simple life. We know most of the people who come in by their names. Gopalapuram is a nice neighborhood and we have been part of it for some time. We don't have big flashy signs. Just a small one by the door. Some days we have plenty of stock, other days we run out quickly. That is just how it goes with organic stuff. It depends on the harvest and the season. We don't use any corporate scripts when people ask questions. We just tell them what we know about the products. Sometimes we are tired by the end of the day because there is a lot of lifting and moving boxes. But it feels good to work with your hands. We keep the place clean but it is a working space, so it is not always perfect. We just do our best.
