Global Hospitals

Out here in Selaiyur, near the HCL and Colgate offices, things are a mix of quiet residential streets and busy office crowds. Global Hospitals is right in the middle of that. We get a lot of people who work at the big companies nearby coming in when they’re feeling under the weather. The morning rush is usually people trying to get their tests done before they head into the office. It’s a fairly straightforward place. We’ve got the usual hospital smell of antiseptic, and the floors are always being scrubbed. The staff here is mostly local, so there’s a lot of talking about the local news or the weather during lunch breaks. We have a small area where we sit and eat our tiffins. The heat in Chennai is no joke, so the air conditioning is always running, though sometimes it struggles to keep up. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word usually travels by mouth in Selaiyur. Someone’s aunt came here and felt better, so then the whole family starts coming. It’s a nice way to build a reputation. We have our good days and our bad days, just like any other place. Sometimes things get backed up and people have to wait longer than we’d like. We just try to keep things honest and do the work that needs doing. We've been here for years now. We're just a part of the daily Selaiyur scenery.
