Gem Granites

At Gem Granites, we operate out of No. 78 Cathedral Road. It’s a busy address on a busy road, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for a long time. Working with granite is a heavy, grounded business, and our office reflects that. We don't have fancy carpets or modern art on the walls; instead, we have pieces of stone and stacks of order forms. The building is older and has character, which we like. The team here is like a small family. We’ve worked through many summers and monsoons in this same spot. Cathedral Road is always full of cars and people, but inside our doors, we focus on the granite blocks and the precision needed for our work. We aren't the type of company to use big corporate buzzwords. We just talk like regular people and tell you what we have in stock. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered because we are always busy moving samples around or checking on shipments. We value the fact that we are easy to find right here on the main road. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking the quality of the latest batch of stone. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for years. We just keep things moving and focus on the stone. There's always a lot to get through before the day ends. It is just daily life.
