Gem Granite

We are Gem Granite, situated at 351 on the East Coast Road in Neelankarai. Being on the ECR means we see a lot of people driving past every day. Our yard is right there, and you can’t miss the stacks of stone. We’ve been here quite a while now. It’s a busy road, but inside the gate, it’s just us and the granite. We have different kinds of slabs, some smooth and some rough. We don't really do much advertising because the stone on the side of the road usually does the talking for us. It’s a straightforward business. We show you what we have, you pick it, and we figure out the delivery. We don't have a team of people in offices. It is just a few of us who know how to move the heavy stuff without breaking anything. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes things rusty, so we have to keep an eye on the equipment. It’s hot work most of the year. We drink a lot of water and just keep moving the slabs. People come to us when they are building something new nearby. We don't promise anything crazy. We just have the granite sitting there ready to go. It is a simple life running a yard like this. We like it that way.
