Gd Cafe Private Limited

This little cafe is tucked away on Nawab Habibullah Avenue Cross Street. It is right in the Nungambakkam area of Chennai. If you know the neighborhood, you know it can get pretty busy with people moving around all the time. We aren't a massive chain or anything. It is just a regular spot where we serve what we have. Most of our days are spent behind the counter or in the back room getting things ready. The address is 1/1(1), which can be a bit tricky for delivery drivers to find sometimes. We usually tell them to look for the cross street landmark. The building is older, but it feels sturdy. We have some local regulars who stop in every morning. We know their names and what they usually want. It makes the day go by faster. We don't have fancy uniforms. Usually, we just wear what is comfortable for working. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot Chennai days, it struggles a bit. We try to keep the windows clean but the dust from the road is constant. It is just a small business trying to stay busy. We handle the inventory ourselves. Sometimes we forget to order napkins and have to run to the store nearby. It’s not perfect but it is how we run things. Most people don't mind the wait when we are understaffed. They just hang out until we are ready.
