Ganesh Granites

Ganesh Granites is located on the ground floor at 374, Avvai Shanmugam Salai in Gopalapuram. It’s a well-known street, so finding us isn’t usually too hard for people. We have been here for a good number of years. The shop isn't massive, but we keep enough samples of different granites so people can see what they’re getting. It’s a bit of a hands-on job, moving slabs around and showing the patterns to whoever walks in. Gopalapuram is a good area to be in, even if the parking is a bit of a mess most days. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just sit here, talk to customers, and try to arrange the deliveries. Sometimes the slabs have cracks or the color isn't what was expected, so we have to deal with those headaches. It’s just part of working with natural stone. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and the loading. It’s noisy when we have to trim a piece, but the neighbors are mostly used to it by now. We aren’t looking to expand into some giant empire. We’re happy just keeping the shop running and helping folks pick out stone for their kitchens or floors. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just take it one customer at a time. The tea stall next door is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a simple setup.
