G R Hospital

G R Hospital is tucked away on City Link Road in the NGO Colony part of Adambakkam. The address is 12/6, and it is a building that most people in the neighborhood are pretty familiar with by now. Being in a residential area like Adambakkam means we get a lot of local families coming in. The street outside can get a bit congested during school hours, but otherwise, it is a decent spot to work. Inside the hospital, things are pretty standard. We have the reception desk where the paperwork piles up, and the hallways that lead back to the rooms. It isn’t a massive place, so you end up knowing everyone who works here pretty well. We spend the day checking on patients, updating charts, and talking to the families who come in to visit. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief when the sun is hitting the building in the afternoon. We have a routine of cleaning everything down every few hours, so there is always someone walking around with a mop or a cloth. It is just a regular hospital doing regular things for the people living nearby. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that; we just have our desks and our equipment right here on City Link Road. Sometimes we run out of tea in the breakroom, and someone has to run out to the local shop. It is just how things go.
