G F C Hospital

G F C Hospital is tucked away on 6Th Cross Street in United India Colony. It is in Kodambakkam, which is a busy area, but this particular street is a bit more residential. The address is No-4, so it is right there near the start of the block. I often find that people have a little trouble finding the exact street because Kodambakkam has so many small lanes. Once you get to United India Colony, it is much easier. The hospital is a modest building. It doesn't tower over everything else. I like the vibe of this neighborhood; it feels lived-in. Inside G F C, the hallways are narrow but we manage just fine. I spend my time at the desk or moving between the different rooms on the ground floor. We have a small area for people to sit while they wait. The walls have a few old posters about health, and the ceiling fans are always spinning. It can get a bit humid, but that is just how it is here. I usually bring my own lunch and eat in the small break room in the back. We see the same faces from the neighborhood quite often. It is a community feel where everyone knows the local shops nearby. We just go about our business and try to keep things organized. The day usually goes by pretty fast because there is always something to do.
