Fashions International

Fashions International is based at No. 35 Kalaimagal Nagar 3 Road, right on the Main Road. We are part of the Guindy Industrial Estate in the North Phase of Ekkaduthangal. It’s a busy spot with trucks and bikes zooming past all day long. The building is just a regular workspace, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our machines and tables set up for the daily work. It gets quite hot in Chennai, so the fans are always running, though they mostly just move the warm air around. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a good while now. Most of our days are spent checking fabric and making sure the orders are ready to go out. The guys here have their own way of doing things, and we don't bother with much paperwork unless we have to. Sometimes the power cuts out and we all take a break at the tea stall around the corner. It's a loud area because of all the other factories nearby, but you get used to it. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. People usually just drop by if they know where we are. We keep things pretty simple and just focus on the clothes. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, especially when the deadlines are tight. We just try to get the job done without too much fuss and keep things moving.
